Erm, well...
Went to a week long (ish 6 days) summer school at the Exeter Uni in July. I didn't kno anyone there so I decided I'd have to talk sometime. Just my luck that my kind of people came. I introduced myself to 3 guys who I saw when they came in. They seemed decent and interested in the same sorta things, music mostly. I more or less decided they were cool by eavesdropping in on their convo hehe oops! oh well
Turned ou to be Matt, Appleby and Max, later in the week we also met Nick, Gemma, Laura, Helen and Jade.
But for the first couple of days and for the most part is was just me and the guys. I seem to get along with guys more than gurls so yerr it was great. Had a fantastic week! Saw Lost Prophets at the Exeter Great Hall, was an amazing show, even tho a gurl collapsed next to me and I had to hold her up before she could get out shame, hope she was okay. The support band The Blackout were great too, should check em out on myspace
[link] and vote for em the best british newcomer for the Kerrang! awards.
Sadly the guys were from Bideford, 2 and a half hours away by train from me so thought I'd never see em again, so very upsetting time when we had to leave.
But thankfully since then I have been to see em and they have been down to see me and we talk every night so yayness, hopefully made some friends for life
Anyhoo what else has happened?
Erm recording a few songs at the beginning of this month and went to a summer workshop in Dartington as part of Dartington Music school. Was great, again met some great people. Was put together with people I had only just met and who had totally different music tastes to me..mainly rap and hip hop (ugh!) and we had to write an original song, perform and record it in 5 days, it was tough at the beginning but we did it and it was good.
Erm...pretty much it I think, since then I've just been sleeping and lazing about as usuall...
oo...actually had my prom, well actually it was a non-prom...me and a few friends ditched our prom to go to a local gig and it was great. We saw the band Hypo Psycho for the first time and liked em, and we also had a chat to em afterwards, they are all extremely nice lads and a friend and I have created a street team for them down here in Plymouth so if your in the area and wanna spread the word of Hypo Psycho then join at [link]
or simply want to check out the band

So yerr that was good

AND! I'm seeing Aiden at the Lemon Grove in Exeter on Sep 22nd, should be good. Bayside, The Audition and The Sleeping are supporting, didn't hear any Bayside or The Sleeping stoof til yesterday from myspace, not bad will have to see on the 22nd...can't wait
So if anyone is going to those shows, say hi if you recognise me hehe, just say your from DA, I'll probs have no clue but still be nice to get a hi
Anyhoo, very busy summer this year...very strange for me as Im usually just lazing around for 6 weeks.
But start A Levels in a few weeks (gah!) and haven't even decided on subjects yet and I haven't got a job,
Very long journal sorry, not that many people will read it...
